My Spam Filtering

Smartermail is automatically set up to use default spam filtering options. These options specify that all incoming mail that has a medium-to-high potential of being spam be placed directly in your "Junk E-mail" folder, and that mail with a low potential of being spam will have "Spam-Low:" be added to the subject line of the email.
For users of programs such as Outlook, this means that you won't be able to view any mail that falls into the "Medium-to-High" category without logging into your appsmail account at http://mail2.appsmail.com. It also means that mail being marked "Spam-Low:" can be automatically filtered into the spam folder in your Outlook if you don't wish to have it mixed with your regular inbox.
For directions on how to set up automatic filtering for mail marked "Spam-Low:" in your outlook, go to our Outlook Support Page, select the "Blocking Spam" link under your version of Outlook, and follow the directions given. When prompted to "Specify words or phrases to search for in the subject" be sure to type in "Spam-Low:"
